East Asia Institute (EAI) Holds Civil Society Roundtable on Korean Democracy Storytelling: Discussing ‘K-Democracy’ (feat. Citizens)

The East Asia Institute (EAI), as part of the South Korea Democracy Storytelling project supported by the National Democratic Institute (NDI), hosted the Civil Society Roundtable 'Discussing K-Democracy' (feat. Citizens) on Thursday, September 24, 2020. The roundtable, aimed at reflecting on Korean democracy from a civil society perspective and exploring future directions for new citizen democracy, was structured into 'Session 1: Reimagining Citizens, Civil Society, and Civil Movements' and 'Session 2: Discussing Citizen Participation Centered on Citizens'.

The event was moderated by EAI Senior Fellow Director and Sungkyunkwan University Professor Lee Suk-jong. Scholars, members of the National Assembly, representatives of civic groups, and journalists who have been actively researching and engaged in civil society and civil movements participated as presenters and discussants, creating a forum for sharing and debating diverse perspectives on Korean civil society and citizen democracy.

It's a story. There are about four or five. Three or four. Two people came to Sakae, when did they start? Uh, they were together and then they were informed. Yes. Thank you. It seems like it came out once. No, it's not necessary. It was a good event, and it was developed. I couldn't do it. It is now considered to be a real problem, excluding the Nobel. Everyone knows. In order to understand this in a certain place, it comes out as it is. So, what kind of activities are being embraced by organizations over the course of a year? It seems that organizations are alive, with about 100,000 schools in our case, and actual activities are being conducted. They have created accounts that are very active. The registered members of the incorporated foundation are like depression, and in society, there are issues like embezzlement. Starting from human rights, this is actually more youthful. Where are we? We have been here, but it seems that we have become more active as the years go by.

The resolution has not been achieved well, and it is difficult to save this. As I was trying to go through those two months, I ended up loving the six volumes. It comes by mail. So, when I see the responses, especially regarding the conflicts, I realize that my soul is in a typical state, and I am not putting on too much makeup. It is too much to follow along, and the red numbers are adjusted, so the daily prices are fluctuating. There are also important points regarding speculation. It seems that this will become clearer.

It seems good. I will do something difficult for someone. However, before that, I was completely blocked here. It seems that according to the regime, there are tasks that are prepared. It is too bright to be together, so if that happens, it will be said that the people have written this era. This is a response to the current situation. It seems that there are concerns about the teachers, and two out of nine people are living weaker than before. You might have seen that, but while doing this, I sent all the memorials, and it becomes another indicator.

Yes, there is a very opposing relationship. I have looked into this, and it is not just two people; it is a fact that I have heard that the dolls are happy. There are very powerful figures, and what is important is that they are in their usual state. Therefore, we need to overcome this. I cannot play this role. For this purpose, I have spoken about it. Here, it seems that this side will be the case. Oh, I see. Well, I am a teacher I learned from. I will come, and yes, it has become very detached.

It is different from the past, and you are answering. So, is this the kind of person that is being separated? The spokesperson is a formal driver. Yes, I do not know what the hobby is, but citizens are not doing well. In other words, citizens are reviving, but civic organizations are weak. Recently, we have entered, and it has been closed again. The intervention that was previously closed is now coming back. If there are difficulties, it will be good again. It is painful, but then we will go to professionalism. Professors and others like this should not spread beautifully. So, it seems that the tank is now going forward.

I examined the name of the logo at that time, and it is not a habit. It is difficult to go out. The point is that ultimately, citizens will see this, and it will be DSM. There will be a person who will take care of themselves. When we look at it about a year later, it does not seem to be much. Those who were adjusted are almost gone. The fact that I am singing well is true, and there were middle-aged women trying to protect various vested interests. This activity and the truth of the matter are not clear.

I came here with a sense of mission, but as a resource volunteer, it is a good game. And as I mentioned earlier, I hope that hybrid civic organizations will come together. The most important thing is whether it can be done. Because of that, it seems that it will not go in. Currently, it seems that the human world is shrinking, and there is content, but it is difficult. It seems that they are doing this voluntarily through today, and they are representing their rights. Now, it seems that these students will come out among the experts.

Now, the future seems a bit difficult. If you look at this side, it seems that various old things are being modified to some extent. It seems that they are trying to maintain a thin line. What is being linked to capital is now a different matter. The remaining fall is not bad, but it seems that it was in the system of Kim Sa's party. It seems that they are trying to turn this around. In our country, of course, the movement is not like that. It seems that we cannot do this, just like the US military cannot do it. However, it seems that the activities of the middle class are being conducted. Here, it seems that this is going a little towards this.

This is because public studies need to be dynamic. Therefore, there is no politics, and power is being used in the economy. This kind of tribe is well recognized as a reality, and the freedom of the military's fate is not recognized. Therefore, when society is integrated into the state, citizens can coexist. This is the conclusion that the political help of President Kim Young-sam and President Roh Moo-hyun will be beneficial.

It is annoying. I have seen the three principles. This is because, under the recent national regime, citizens have excessively engaged in politics under the name of reform. What could be the case now? It is not like that. Now, I am giving advice on saving. In the previous regime of Kim Young-sam, please respond. Well, this has happened, and it seems that I am very passionate about it. Among them, this is about 9, and it seems that the principle of political neutrality was presented in 2000.

What is this? It is about the representative or the secretary-general looking for something from the government. At that time, how did they do this? They were very cautious about this. It seems that they were trying to finish the punishment for the Kim Young-sam regime. It seems that they will appear together in Bundang. It is a lifelong position, and it is very good to participate. I am now checking this.

And recently, those who got married will not be able to do so thoroughly. When they are caught, they will be verified. So, I am saving this. If I look at the development, I am not small. Now, the political situation is only read in the massage. Therefore, the frequency of the third face becomes three. How do I oppose this? I also established a company during this time. I revealed the sovereign crisis. I have resources that are usually circulating, and it is important for large companies to have this.

Yes, it is set up, but I feel that it is well done. I need to use both, but sometimes I have noticed some characteristics. It has become hot. I see. I am taking this. So now, it seems that we are going into this. I mentioned this, but the direction of civic movements should no longer be led by citizens. They should humbly hold this and speak in a way that allows them to communicate democratically. It seems that the role of the field is somewhat about the environment. Therefore, these two should be the main characters, and I think that they should abandon the fact that they are the main characters.

Therefore, this is connected to knowledge. The government is connected to the restaurant, and it seems that the plan is strong. Yes, it seems that it has become a union. This is about the past. The cost is also correct. The immigrants have not been very successful. It seems that we need to establish a strategy. Secondly, there has been a bias in the past. It seems that the vision has been interrupted. It seems that they are not reading professional literature and studying.

So, this is about the civil servants. Therefore, we need to set up a medical school. It seems that the universe is almost at a 9-degree angle. I am sorry, but it seems that they are just believing in this. So, I think that health politics will not work now. It is morning, and there is no dressing up. Now, the fifth issue is very serious. I have purchased this issue. I have been deeply involved in this. Thanks to this, I have been able to explore various things.
