Inhwan Oh, Senior Research Fellow at EAI (Lecturer at Seoul National University), presented a Korean perspective at a NATO-sponsored webinar on August 5 convened to assess the Ankara Summit. Dr. Oh explains why South Korea was the only IP4 country represented at the leader level in Ankara, with President Lee Jae Myung attending in person. He highlights that, as NATO 3.0 takes shape, Seoul is seeking to consolidate its standing as a reliable long-term partner in a global defense-industrial ecosystem that links the Indo-Pacific and Euro-Atlantic regions.
