East Asia Institute (EAI) Ukraine Issue Briefing: Planning Intent

Despite the international community's concerns and warnings, Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24. The East Asia Institute (EAI) has planned this special issue briefing series to comprehensively examine the Russia-Ukraine war from the perspectives of stakeholders such as the United States, Russia, and Ukraine, and to discuss the implications of this situation for South Korea's foreign and security policy direction and for East Asia. The authors analyze the causes of the Russia-Ukraine war in a foreign and security policy context and discuss the post-war international order and the immediate challenges facing the Korean Peninsula.
