2007 Presidential Election Panel Survey: First Frequency Table

The East Asia Institute (EAI)'s presidential election voter survey is not merely intended to predict the outcome of the presidential election, but rather to anticipate the future shape of Korea and to examine countermeasures by preemptively identifying the political and social contradictions and dilemmas inherent within it. This is because analyzing the "votes" from an election allows us to gauge public sentiment and understand the structure of conflict. By measuring voter perceptions of various social issues that emerge during the election period and analyzing voters' political and social orientations, the EAI presents the agenda for South Korea for the next five years in advance.
