Korea-US Relations 2nd Questionnaire

At a time when cooperation between Korea and the US is becoming even more crucial due to the North Korean nuclear crisis, externally, the US is proceeding with the redeployment and reduction of US Forces Korea as part of its defense transformation policy, and internally, a sense of sovereignty is emerging, advocating for a transition to a partnership-based Korea-US alliance commensurate with Korea's economic development. Furthermore, neighboring countries surrounding the Korean Peninsula, such as China and Japan, are also seeking opportunities to leap forward as global powers in the process of reorganizing into a new diplomatic order. EAI contributes to the formulation of Korea's foreign policy by tracking and investigating how Koreans' perceptions of the US and foreign countries are changing due to these shifts in the external environment.
