EAI analyzes public perceptions and evaluations of government, corporations, civic organizations, and the media that drive South Korea. This is because 21st-century democracy operates as a governance system where corporations, civic organizations, and the media, in addition to the state, participate in policy-making processes. Through periodic public opinion surveys on national governance and investigations into the influence and trustworthiness of powerful institutions, EAI aims to contribute to establishing a direction toward a more efficient democratic system by understanding South Korea's governance structure and tracking public perceptions.
