EAI analyzes public evaluations and perceptions of government, corporations, civic organizations, and the media that drive Korea. This is because democracy in the 21st century operates as a governance system where not only the state but also corporations, civic organizations, and the media that constitute society participate in the policy-making process. Through periodic public opinion surveys on national governance evaluation and surveys on the influence and credibility of powerful institutions, EAI aims to understand Korea's governance structure and contribute to setting a direction toward a more efficient democratic system by tracking public perceptions.
