The Developmental State Revisited: Political Regime, Industry Characteristics, Policy Networks and Leadership

The <Park Chung-hee Era> project, jointly conducted by EAI and the Asia Center at Harvard University, is the first series of EAI's Korean Political History Research. The objective of this research is to establish an analytical framework for Korea's political economy that possesses logical consistency and integrates history and theory. To share research findings in the international academic exchange arena, the authors of <Park Chung-hee Era> formed a panel at the Annual Meeting of the American Political Science Association.

The authors of EAI's Korean Political History Research aimed to strengthen comparative research and contribute to the development of East Asian studies by integrating research papers on foreign case studies, including South America, the Philippines, and Taiwan, with research on Korea's political economy.
