Expert Survey on the Evaluation of the Roh Moo-hyun Administration's First Year in Office [Questionnaire]

Purpose of the Survey

The starting point of this research is to ask the public to evaluate the Roh Moo-hyun administration. Public opinion, whether right or wrong, is the primary yardstick by which national governance should be assessed. However, general public opinion surveys have limitations. This is because the general public may lack objectivity due to insufficient information and expertise. Therefore, an expert survey was conducted.

* We obtained a list of 1,178 individuals, including advisory group members and evaluation committee members from the administrative management offices of 22 government ministries. In-depth policy evaluation surveys were conducted on 252 of these individuals. They are composed of professors, policy researchers, businesspeople, and leaders of civic organizations, among others. The experts who responded to the survey included 55 in politics/administration, 44 in foreign affairs/security, 41 in economics, 40 in social affairs, 30 in media, and 42 in education.
