2003 Survey of Political and Social Consciousness [Questionnaire]

Significance of the Survey

What changes have occurred in the ideological landscape of the Korean public over the past year? To ascertain this, EAI conducted a survey using common questions from the 2002 Survey of Political and Social Consciousness. The results revealed a rapid departure of progressive individuals from President Roh's support base, and highlighted the emergence of "women" as a salient factor, in addition to basic rights and perceptions of North Korea.

Target Population: Adult men and women aged 20 and over

Survey Region: Nationwide

Valid Sample Size: 1,006 individuals

Survey Method: Telephone survey

Sampling Error: ±3.1% points (95% confidence level)
