[Expert Survey on External Perceptions] How the Survey Was Conducted

EAI had previously announced the results of a joint public opinion survey on external perceptions conducted by Korea, the United States, and Mexico through the JoongAng Ilbo newspaper on September 30 and October 1. This subsequent survey of Korean opinion leaders is part of that follow-up effort. The participants were selected from political scholars at universities and research institutions, professional monitors of the National Unification Advisory Council, and members of the National Assembly and their staff. The survey period was from October 18 to October 30, and the methodology employed was a combination of online survey systems and in-person interviews.
