[Speech] Under Secretary of State Bolton

On July 31, 2003, at the Seoul Hilton Hotel, John R. Bolton, Under Secretary of State for Arms Control and International Security, attended a lecture hosted by the East Asia Institute (EAI) and emphasized that the North Korean nuclear issue is not solely a problem for the United States but for the international community as well. He stated that the U.S. would pursue multilateral talks, discussions at the UN Security Council, and the Proliferation Security Initiative (PSI) concurrently to resolve the North Korean nuclear issue.
