[EAI Online Seminar] Democracy Cooperation Series 10. Diagnosing Judicial Independence Regimes in Asia: Democratic Values Through the Judiciary

The East Asia Institute (EAI, Director Son Yeol), as the secretariat of the Asia Democracy Research Network (ADRN), hosted the tenth "Democracy Cooperation" online seminar series, "Diagnosing Judicial Independence Regimes in Asia." In this meeting, ADRN members discussed trends in judicial independence and key challenges faced by judiciaries while addressing the constitutional obligations of the judiciary in Sri Lanka, the Philippines, and India. The panelists also explored measures to enhance judicial autonomy and effectiveness at the regional level in Asia.
