The East Asia Institute (EAI), in collaboration with the Korea Foundation (KF), is organizing the [KF Korea Workshop] to enhance understanding of Korea and foster greater empathy among foreigners residing in Korea.



For the 2018 KF Korea Workshop, Dr. Lee Jae-hyun, Senior Fellow at the Asan Institute for Policy Studies, was invited to deliver the second lecture titled 'The New Southern Policy: A New Partner for Korean Diplomacy.' Dr. Lee is a Senior Fellow for the ASEAN-Oceania Program at the Asan Institute for Policy Studies, specializing in Southeast Asian politics, ASEAN, and East Asian regional cooperation. In this lecture, he discussed ASEAN as a new diplomatic partner for Korea and the Moon Jae-in administration's New Southern Policy.
