[The 6th Korea-Japan Future Dialogue: Shin Kawashima]

The East Asia Institute (EAI), in collaboration with the Japan Center for International Exchange (JCIE), hosted the 6th Korea-Japan Future Dialogue at the Korea Foundation from June 22-23. The Korea-Japan Future Dialogue serves as a platform for civil society in both countries to broaden mutual understanding and cooperation, build consensus on key issues, and shape a desirable future for Korea-Japan relations. Based on public opinion surveys conducted among the citizens of both nations, this dialogue addressed the historical issues that both countries must overcome, as well as cooperative tasks for building peace and driving prosperity in the Northeast Asian region.
