[KF-EAI Korea Friendship] National Assembly Member Na Kyung-won on "The Path of Korean Politics for the Next Generation"

The East Asia Institute (EAI), with the support of the Korea Foundation (KF) and Samyang Holdings, is conducting the educational and networking program [KF-EAI Korea Friendship] for international students residing in Korea.

National Assembly Member Na Kyung-won began the lecture by introducing the Korean political system, which may be unfamiliar to international students, and stated her goal as a politician to contribute to resolving discriminatory treatment and perceptions towards the socially vulnerable and minorities. She also emphasized that the current 20th National Assembly has the crucial role of preparing for the upcoming Fourth Industrial Revolution through institutional and legal changes and preparing the future for the next generation. She stressed that Korean politicians should embody the role of statesmen rather than mere political opportunists focused solely on elections, and also advocated for the expansion of women's political participation.
