[KF-EAI Korea Friendship] Financier Kang Chan-soo on “The Global Economy and the Future”

The East Asia Institute (EAI) is conducting the educational and networking program [KF-EAI Korea Friendship] for international students staying in Korea, with the support of the Korea Foundation (KF) and Samyang Holdings.

Financier Kang Chan-soo explained the rapid changes in the global environment due to technological advancements, the spread of globalization, geopolitical variables, demographic shifts, and the strengthening influence of interest groups. He also discussed the challenges facing the Korean economy and proposed countermeasures. Furthermore, he stated that Korea must flexibly follow the trends of the future and that corporations must foster a culture that respects innovation, emphasizing the need for social consensus to create youth employment opportunities, a key challenge for the Korean economy.
