The East Asia Institute (EAI) hosted, and Pyeongtaek City sponsored, the 3rd Korea-US Alliance Conference on November 2nd and 3rd, 2009, at the Lotte Hotel. On November 2nd, the 1st session, a Grand Debate on Pyeongtaek's Future Strategy, was held under the theme "Pyeongtaek's Internationalization Strategy for Education." On November 3rd, the 2nd session, a Grand Lecture, and the 3rd session, a Roundtable Discussion, were held under the theme "The Transforming World and the Korea-US Alliance."
