The East Asia Institute (EAI) hosted, and Pyeongtaek City sponsored, the 3rd Korea-US Alliance Conference on November 2nd and 3rd, 2009, at the Lotte Hotel. On November 2nd, the first part, a Grand Debate on Pyeongtaek's Future Strategy, was held under the theme "Pyeongtaek's Educational Internationalization Strategy." On November 3rd, the second part, a Grand Lecture, and the third part, a Roundtable Discussion, were held under the theme "The Transforming World and the Korea-US Alliance."
