The East Asia Institute (EAI) hosted, and Pyeongtaek City sponsored, the 3rd Korea-US Alliance Conference on November 2nd and 3rd, 2009, at the Lotte Hotel. On November 2nd, Part 1, the Pyeongtaek Future Strategy Grand Debate, was held under the theme "Pyeongtaek's Internationalization Strategy for Education." On November 3rd, Part 2, the Grand Lecture, and Part 3, the Roundtable Discussion, were held under the theme "The Transforming World and the Korea-US Alliance."
