Joseph S. Nye Special Lecture - Soft Power is the Future

On February 12, 2008, the East Asia Institute (EAI), in collaboration with the JoongAng Ilbo and the Korea Foundation, hosted a distinguished panel of experts, including the renowned international security and diplomacy scholar Professor Joseph S. Nye, along with prominent figures from South Korea, Taiwan, the United States, and Japan. This forum, held under the theme "Smart Power and the War on Terror," provided participants with a meaningful opportunity to reflect on the significance of soft power in relation to South Korea's diplomatic challenges and future strategies through presentations and discussions.
